Global iron ore giant Vale appoints new executive vice president

In March, Vale, one of the biggest iron ore giants in the world, announced to create a position of Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Transformation.

The position not only combines functions of mineral exploration, business development, innovation, and digital transformation but also will integrate the company's transformation affairs.

This Tuesday, Vale appointed Luciano Siani Pires as its Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Transformation. This appointment will come into effect on November 1, 2021.
