Japan & UK signs new EPA on Oct 23rd

According to the news, Japan and the UK governments officially signed the new Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) on October 23rd, which was the first trade agreement for the UK after it completed to leave the EU.

The EPA between Japan and the UK would take effect on January 1st, 2021, and which noted that the Japanese goods could still enjoy the same tariff as before.

Moreover, the content also mentioned that around 94% of British goods could enjoy the no-tariff treatment in Japan, and around 99% of the Japanese goods could enjoy the 0 tariff treatment in the UK.
