Indian Jindal Stainless promotes second phase of co-branding program

India Jindal Stainless launched the second phase of nationwide nationwide pipe & tube co-branding program, with the purpose of preventing counterfeit products in the market.
After the first phase launched last year, the market share of counterfeit products dropped from 25% to 20%. With the beginning of the second phase, Jindal Stainless planned to take about 60% of the market share before the end of the current fiscal year.
By preventing counterfeit products from being sold in the market, the company's brand steel pipe has occupied market share with an increase from 40% to 50% in the past year.
Jindal Stainless mentioned that counterfeiters not only cause damage to the company but also hurt small and medium-sized enterprises in this industry.
