China’s iron ore demand increases, BDI index skyrocketing

According to the market news, the Baltic Dry Index (BDI index) had skyrocketed with a range of nearly 13%, mainly benefited by the strong demand for iron ore in China.

Because of the strong market demand, the total shipment of iron ore from Australia and Brazil have both in hot trading.

Among them, the BDI index had reached 1605 on September 24th, increased by 12.6%, and the Baltic Capesize Index (BCI) also faced an increase, reached 2,754, on the same day.
