Belarusian BMZ’s rebar exports to Africa increase in Jan-Aug

Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ), a steel producer in Belarus, exported around 560,000 tons of rebars in the first eight months of this year, with an export value of US$200 million.
The firm’s export markets were not only Russia, Israel, Lithuania, Ukraine, and the UK, but also included some African countries, especially Senegal, Ivory Coast, Benin, and Ghana.
During the period from January to August, BMZ’s export value to Africa exceeded US$11 million, a year-on-year increase of nearly 20%.
