European General Court rejects EUROFER's decision to review AD duty against Serbia

28 May 2020 15:41 reported by Jackson

The European General Court has formally rejected a request by the European Steel Association (EUROFER) to review the European Commission's decision that hot-rolled coils from Serbia could be imported into the EU.

The EUROFER requested a decision in 2017 to exclude Serbian hot-rolled coils from anti-dumping import measures. Anti-dumping duties were imposed on imports from Brazil, Ukraine, Russia and Iran.

The court ordered the EUROFER to cover its own costs and compensate the European Commission and HBIS GROUP Serbia Iron & Steel llc Belgrade.
