US galvanized aluminum steel coil prices drop slightly in Mar

26 Mar 2020 15:56 reported by Jamie Yen

A A A
Recently, the price of galvanized aluminum steel coils in the US steel market wasn't impacted by the spread of coronavirus. According to the market participants, since March was usually the starting work month of the construction industry in the US, there was still demand as the galvanized aluminum steel coil was one of the main steel products for building.

However, other market participants believed that the epidemic would affect the steel market in coming months which probably affected the price trend of galvanized aluminum steel coils.

Although it had never heard about the shutdown of steel mills in the US so far, some major automakers have suspended their production, making more difficult to predict the prices.

Even so, some dealers considered that steel mills still had many orders. The price of galvanized aluminum steel coils might slowly reduce, but the prices might drop sharply if the orders were all shipped.
