A A A
According to a report submitted by the US Steel, one of the leading steelmakers in the US, the company's plant near Detroit would suspend production for more than six months, and would temporarily layoff about 200 workers at the plant.

U.S Steel shares down 32% for this year due to falling steel prices and weak demand on the market.

Although the local union said that US Steel would also lay off employees at the Gary plant in Indiana but the US Steel said the news was incorrect.
