Iran's steel exports increase sharply y-o-y- in first 9 months of FY19

Iran’s total exports of steel increased sharply in the first 9 months last fiscal year, which from March 21st to December 21st, reached around 5.2 million tons, increased by 19% year on year.
Among them, the total exports of steel from Iran in the last month of 2019 was around 486,000 tons, increased by over 90% year on year.
Based on the report from Mobarakeh Steel Company (KSC), an Iranian steel company, the total exports of KSC in the first 9 months last fiscal year in 2019 were around 1.37 million tons, and reached 108,000 tons in the last month of 2019, decreased by 22% year on year.
Most of the steelmakers faced an increase in their exports in Iran during the first 9 months of the fiscal year in 2019.
