Mexican crude steel production falls by 7.8% in Jan-Oct 2019 y-o-y

According to data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel), the production of crude steel in Mexico this October was around 1.52 million tons, a fall of 3.6% compared to the same month last year.
In terms of accumulated output, Mexico produced around 15.73 million tons of crude steel during the first 10 months of this year, a fall of 7.8% year on year.
Steel production in Mexico has slowed down by the fall in the construction sector as well as in the production of cars and the stagnation of the country's economy.
