Shougang Hierro Peru's iron ore output falls in Aug y-o-y

According to data released by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals of Peru, the country's iron ore production output in August 2019 was around 890,000 tons, down by 89,000 tons or 9% year on year.
From January to August, the total output was about 6.2 million tons, which was 499,000 tons or 7.4% decrease year on year.
The country's major iron ore producers are Shougang Hierro Peru, a subsidiary of Shougang Group of China, and Minera Shouxin Peru, of which Shougang Hierro Peru is expanding its capacity and estimated annual output, which was expected to reach 200,000 tons in 2020.
