According to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced on October 4th, canceling the existing anti-dumping duties from South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, and Denmark would cause dumping to damage the domestic steel industry.

The final decision would be made by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) before March 13th, 2020.

The dumping margin of the plate from Brazil was set at 28.9% to 59.7%, for South Korea was set at 1.9% to 59.7%. The plate imports from Japan, Indonesia, Italy, and Denmark was set at 59.7%.
