Vietnam imposes AD duties on aluminum products from China

Vietnam government announced on October 2nd to impose anti-dumping (AD) duties on aluminum products from 16 Chinese companies. The dumping margins were set at 2.49% to 35.58%.

According to the ruling of anti-dumping made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, the dumping activities from China serious damage the profit of the Vietnam aluminum merchants caused they had to stop to manufacture. In the first eight months, the Vietnam trade deficit with China had increased from US$17 billion to US$25 billion.

Besides, Vietnam also imposed AD duties of 3.45% to 34.27% on part of steel products from China this June.
