Australia launches AD review on certain coated steel products from 6 countries

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced that it has launched anti-dumping (AD) reviews on galvanized steel from six countries, including China, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam, and aluminum-zinc coated steel from China.

At present, the AD duty on aluminum-zinc coated steel from China was between 9.5-53.2%. The AD duty on galvanized steel from China was 6.7-43.4%, from Taiwan was 2.4-28.2%, from South Korea was 2.4-13.7%, from India was 7.6-14.3%, from Malaysia was 14.5-16.5%, and from Vietnam was 8.4-14.2%.

In addition to galvanized steel, non-alloy flat-rolled steel products and alloy flat-rolled steel products from China, South Korea and Taiwan, the surveyed products also included galvanized flat-rolled steel products (whether containing alloy or not) from India, Malaysia and Vietnam.
