Brazilian slab exports rise in Jul y-o-y

According to statistics from the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC) of Brazil, Brazil exported around 739,000 tons of slab in July, which was up by 4% from the same month a year ago. In the same period, the total sales value was about US$377 million, down by 11% from July 2018.

Among them, the US was the main destination with around 456,900 tons, which was 62% of total exports. The total export value was about US$251 million.
