Zinc price expected to remain weak due to growth in production

It was reported that zinc price was expected to remain weak in the second half of this year due to the expectations of growth in Chinese zinc production.

However, it was pointed out by analysts that the zinc stock from the London Metal Exchange (LME) was not high, which could restrain the zinc price from dropping too much.

Among all base metals this year, only nickel price showed a significant increase of 22%.
