Drewry cuts expectation of global boxport throughput growth to 3%

According to one of the authoritative independent maritime research consultancies from the UK, Drewry, the global boxport throughput growth for 2019 might decrease by 0.9%, from 3.9% to 3%, because of the global uncertainty factors increase.

With the impact of the trade war, the rise of global protectionism might change the global consumption habits and cause the shifting of the manufacturing supply chain, which might affect the shipping demand.
