Walsin Lihwa plans to build new stainless steel single rolling mill in Yantai, China

It was reported that Walsin Lihwa, one of the stainless steel makers in Taiwan, was already authorized by Yantai authorities for around 968 acres land grants and planned to build a new single rolling mill of stainless steel and established industrial cluster in order to integrate the upstream and downstream supply chain.
It was reported that the first phase of this project was expected to be carried out in July of 2019.
Walsin Lihwa is a leading manufacturer of wire and cable, copper wire and special steel in the Greater China Region. The firm is also known as its stainless steel mills of long products with sales spread all over the world, and its special steel business included stainless steel billet, wire rod, straight rod and seamless steel pipes.
