India launches AD investigation on stainless steel flat rolled products from 15 countries

It was reported that the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced on July 3rd that it will launch an investigation of anti-dumping on stainless steel flat rolled products imports from 15 countries, including China, South Korea, the EU, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, the US, Thailand, South Africa, Arabia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Vietnam and Malaysia.
The investigation was based on the joint application filed by the Indian Stainless Steel Development Association (ISSDA), Indian domestic steelmakers Jindal Stainless Limited, Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Limited. and Jindal Stainless Steelway Limited.
The period investigation of this case was from April 2018 to March 2019, and the damage investigation period covered 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and the period of investigation.
The products involved were under customs subheading 7219 and 7220 of HS code.
