Vallourec, a global leader in premium seamless tubular solutions in France, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ultra Corpotech Pvt Ltd to deploy VAM® threading capabilities in India.

Scheduled for implementation in late 2026 and commissioning in early 2027, the agreement establishes local production to optimize access to premium products for oilfield services customers. The partnership aligns with a long-term relocation of energy sector manufacturing activities from North America to the Eastern Hemisphere, including around Mumbai.

Integrating Vallourec's premium technology through a dedicated threading cell grants Ultra Corpotech entry into the high-end industrial segment. The asset-light collaboration permits both enterprises to address regional demand swiftly with minimized financial footprints and controlled industrial risks, providing localized turnkey solutions to global oilfield partners.
