Vallourec secures major OCTG contract with Sonatrach

Vallourec, a global leader in premium tubular solutions in France, has signed a major contract with Sonatrach, a national state-owned oil and gas company in Algeria, to supply Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) threaded with its premium VAM connections, widely used in the Algerian market.

Deliveries are planned for 2025 and 2026, with revenues expected to be more than US$250 million. These OCTG products will be manufactured at Vallourec facilities in Brazil, China, France, and Indonesia, ensuring quality and supply chain flexibility.

The transaction strengthens Vallourec’s position in the region and reflects its strong technical and operational performance.
