The US International Trade Commission (USITC) announced scheduled full five-year reviews under the Tariff Act of 1930. These reviews will evaluate the potential impact of removing existing trade duties on prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand).

Specifically, the USITC wants to determine if ending the countervailing duty (CVD) order on Turkish imports would cause material injury to the domestic industry to return or continue.

In addition, the commission will assess whether revoking anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on PC strand from fifteen countries, including Turkey, Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates, would lead to similar harm.
