USITC extends AD & CVD duties on welded stainless steel pressure pipes from 4 countries

13 May 2025 15:39 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
According to a notice on May 8, 2025, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) has determined that revoking the existing anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on welded stainless steel pressure pipe imports from China and the exiting AD orders on the same products from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam would likely cause continued ore recurred material injury to the domestic industry.

As a result of this affirmative decision, the current AD and CVD orders on these imports will remain in effect.

Chair Amy A. Karpel and Commissioners David S. Johanson and Jason E. Kearns voted in favor of maintaining the duties.

The full report will be available on the USITC website by June 13, 2025.
