The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced an amended final dumping margin for certain hot-rolled steel flat products from Japan produced by Nippon Steel Corporation covering the period from October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2019.

The update came after the US Court of International Trade (USCIT) issued a final judgment on April 8, 2026, sustaining second remand results that conflicted with previous administrative review findings.

The USDOC determined a revised weighted-average dumping margin of 10.12% for Nippon Steel Corporation, Nippon Steel Nisshin Co., Ltd., and Nippon Steel Trading Corporation. The agency published the notice to inform the public of the adjustment required by the court decision.
