US to maintain AD & CVD duties on steel threaded rod imports

According to an official notice on June 20, 2025, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) has ruled that revoking the existing anti-dumping (AD) duties on carbon and alloy steel threaded rods from China, India, Taiwan, and Thailand, and lifting the existing countervailing duties (CVD) on the same product from China and India would probably lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

The products involved are under Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7318.15.5051, 7318.15.5056, 7318.15.5090, 7228.60.8000, 7318.15.2095, 7318.19.0000, and 7318.29.0000.
