The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) published preliminary results from its anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review on certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate (CTL plate) from Belgium, covering the review period from May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025.

The USDOC preliminarily concluded that subject merchandise was sold below normal value, estimating a weighted-average dumping margin of 7.55% for Industeel Belgium S.A. and Nialco SA.

Additionally, the authority made a preliminary determination of no shipments by NLMK Belgium entities, including NLMK Clabecq S.A., NLMK Plate Sales S.A., NLMK Sales Europe S.A., NLMK Manage Steel Center S.A., and NLMK La Louviere S.A., and partially rescinded the review for NLMK Dansteel A.S. (Dansteel) as there were no entries of subject merchandise during the review period.
