9 Mar 2026 14:09 reported by Joy Liu

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced a final affirmative determination of an anti-dumping (AD) duty investigation on March 3, 2026, confirming that steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Algeria was sold at less than fair value. This investigation covered the period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.

The USDOC established a weighted-average dumping margin of 127.32% for Tosyali Iron Steel Industry Algeria SPA (Tosyali). This same rate applies to all other Algerian exporters and producers.

The products involved are steel concrete reinforcing bars in straight lengths or coils, including all metallurgy types, lengths, diameters, and grades.
