The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) will keep anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on welded large diameter line pipes from Japan active starting December 29, 2025. This decision came after both the USDOC and the International Trade Commission (USITC) determined that removing these duties would likely cause dumping and injury to American industry to persist.

The order applies to circular welded carbon and alloy line pipe with diameters between 16 and 64 inches, normally meeting American Petroleum Institute (API) specifications. The subject goods are under Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) numbers 7305.11.10.30, 7305.11.10.60, 7305.11.50.00, 7305.12.10.30, 7305.12.10.60, 7305.12.50.00, 7305.19.10.30. 7305.19.10.60, and 7305.19.50.00.

US Customs and Border Protection will continue collecting cash deposits at current rates.
