The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) issued its preliminary findings for the countervailing duty (CVD) administrative review on carbon and alloy steel threaded rod (steel threaded rod) from India.

The USDOC calculated a preliminary net countervailable subsidy rate of 2.54% for Nishant Steel Industries during the review period, which spanned from January 1 through December 31, 2024.

Concurrently, the agency canceled the review for five specific Indian firms. This partial cancellation applies to Bee Dee Cycle Industries, Goodgood Manufacturers, Kanika Fasteners Pvt. Ltd. (including Kanika Exports), Maharaja International, and R K Fasteners. The decision came after all participating parties withdrew their individual review requests within the required 90-day window.

Interested parties can now submit formal comments on these preliminary findings.
