The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) released preliminary results from two separate administrative reviews concerning carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate (CTL plate) from South Korea.

In the anti-dumping (AD) review covering May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025, the USDOC preliminarily concluded that the POSCO single entity, which includes POSCO, POSCO International Corporation, POSCO Mobility Solution, Taechang Steel, and Winsteel, sold the merchandise below normal value, estimating a weighted-average dumping margin of 0.60%.

Meanwhile, in the countervailing duty (CVD) review spanning January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, officials determined that countervailable subsidies were provided, assigning POSCO Co., Ltd. (POSCO) a net subsidy rate of 1.14%.

Besides, the USDOC partially rescinded the countervailing review for 54 companies due to a lack of reviewable entries of subject goods.
