US drops rebar exports in Feb m-o-m, y-o-y

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), US rebar exports in February fell 31% month on month and by 29% year on year, reaching around 20,300 tons.

Canada was still the top destination for US rebar exports, receiving roughly 13,400 tons, a 43% drop from the previous month and a 49% fall from the same month a year earlier. The Dominican Republic ranked second with 5,200 tons. Exports to other destinations were relatively low.

In the given month, the export value decreased by 27% month on month and by 21% year on year to approximately US$17 million.
