The U.S. OCTG Manufacturers Association (USOMA), United Steelworkers, and United States Steel Corporation have filed a complaint with the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) against Taiwan, the UAE, and Austria for oil country tubular goods (OCTG) dumping. 

According to the timeframe, after receiving the complaint, the USDOC should initiate an investigation in April, with the committee likely making a preliminary injury determination in mid-May, followed by a preliminary subsidy determination in September, and a preliminary dumping determination in November. 

At present, Taiwanese steel mills have not received any relevant notifications. Based on visits to the local case progress, the USDOC has likely not yet initiated an investigation. However, due to uncertainty, US distributors have postponed new purchases, resulting in a shortage of pipeline orders and a shift towards a more conservative approach.
