US’ crude steel output in week ending Mar 7 decreases w-o-w

According to data from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), in the week ending on March 7, the US’ production of crude steel was around 1.79 million net tons, decreasing by 1.1% week on week but increasing by 5.2% year on year.

As of March 7, the adjusted year-to-date output of the US' crude steel was around 16.84 million net tons, increasing by 5% year on year. In terms of the capacity utilization rate, it was 77.2%, increasing by 0.8% year on year.
