On July 7, 2025, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced its preliminary findings from an anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review. The review, covering July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, concluded that stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from Taiwan were sold in the US at prices less than the normal value.

Specifically, Shiner Steel International Ltd. (Shiner Steel) and Yuan Long Stainless Steel Corporation (Yuan Long), companies selected for individual examination, received a weighted average dumping margin of 21.10%.

The USDOC also determined that Yieh United Steel Corporation (Yusco) made no shipments to the US during this review period. Additionally, 22 other companies included in the review had no suspended entries during the same timeframe.

The USDOC plans to issue the final ruling for this administrative review within 120 days of this notice, unless it extends the deadline.
