US adjusts final AD duties on Mexican steel wire rods

7 Jul 2026 15:24 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) issued final results for its anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod imports from Mexico covering October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024.

The USDOC determined that Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V. (Deacero) and Deacero Summit S.A.P.I. de C.V. (Deacero Summit), operating as a single entity, sold the subject goods below normal value during the review period. Consequently, the USDOC set a final weighted-average dumping margin of 14.67% for the entity, down from the 15.97% calculated during the preliminary phase.

The investigated goods are specific hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel wire rod products, which enter in coils with an approximately round cross-section, measuring 5.00 mm or more but less than 19.00 mm in solid cross-sectional diameter.
