US’ AD duties maintained on Japan’s welded large diameter line pipes

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) decided on December 3, 2025, to keep the existing anti-dumping (AD) order on imports of certain welded large diameter line pipes from Japan.

After conducting a sunset review, the Commission concluded that removing the current duties would likely cause material injury to the US domestic industry to reoccur.

The affirmative vote by Chair Amy A. Karpel and Commissioners David S. Johanson and Jason E. Kearns ensures the import duties will stay in effect.
