Turkey’s Borusan Boru launches 301 million TL pipe modernization project in Gemlik

Borusan Boru, a pipe producer in Turkey, has initiated the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for a 301.65 million TL infrastructure project at its Gemlik facility in Bursa. The investment involves revising the existing pipe production line and adding new phosphating and surface cleaning lines.

The company aims to modernize its operations to meet rising customer demand for plain welded steel pipes. Upon completion, the facility expects to reach an annual pipe production capacity of around 1.14 million tons.

In addition, the project is expected to employ approximately 50 personnel during its construction phase.
