According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's welded steel pipe exports totaled around 583,000 tons in the first four months of this year, falling by 9.5% compared to the same period a year ago, due to sluggish demand in several major markets.

Romania was the top export destination, receiving 95,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 18%. Exports to Iraq, however, had a 30% increase, reaching 52,000 tons. The delivery to the US plunged by 67% to 23,000 tons, and that to the UK also fell by 12% to 50,000 tons.
