According to the report, the Department of Foreign Trade (DFT) of the Thai Ministry of Commerce recently initiated its first sunset review investigation into the anti-dumping duties on hot-dip galvanized cold-rolled steel coils originating from China, following applications submitted by Thai domestic companies.

Before that, Thailand initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of hot-dip galvanized cold-rolled steel coils from China on February 21, 2020. The DFT issued a preliminary anti-dumping determination on these products, deciding to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty of 35.67% on the CIF price of the products on August 3, 2020.
