Rising nickel prices and a recovering stainless steel market helped Yieh United Steel Corporation (Yusco) raise product prices, boosting its performance during the first half of 2026. The approved financial results showed consolidated revenue of NT$18.85 billion, slightly dropping by 0.18% year on year, and an after-tax net loss of NT$1.85 billion, or NT$0.57 per share. This represented a significant narrowing from the NT$2.95 billion loss in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Yieh Phui) reported consolidated revenue of NT$33.69 billion, falling by 8.06% year on year, with a net loss of NT$940 million, or NT$0.52 per share, improving from last year's NT$0.86 loss.

Despite softer seasonal demand currently, market expectations point toward a rebound in the fourth quarter, positioning both enterprises to achieve improved yearly operations compared to last year.
