Taiwan’s Dragon Steel reports 53% surge in May revenue

12 Jun 2026 15:17 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
Taiwan’s Dragon Steel Corporation registered a significant annual revenue increase of over 53% in May, reaching around NT$7.29 billion. Although this monthly result dropped by 6.2% from April's 27-month high, sales remained above NT$7 billion for two consecutive months.

From January to May, total accumulated revenue reached NT$32.8 billion, rising by 16% compared to the same period last year.

Shipments climbed for the third straight month to 283,000 tons in May, growing by 3,000 tons from April, though falling short of the 294,000-ton target.

A recovering steel market and rising product prices are expected to drive up the company's total annual operational performance significantly.
