Taiwan’s Dragon Steel Corporation reported a strong first half of the year, driven by a recovering steel market and rising prices. Cumulative revenue for the first six months reached NT$39.68 billion, a 21.2% increase compared to the same period last year.

In June, revenue dropped by 5.6% from May to NT$6.87 billion, ending a two-month run above the NT$7 billion level. This dip happened because June shipments fell to 241,000 tons, down by 42,000 tons from May. Even with this monthly decline, June revenues jumped by 52% year on year.

Prior to this, the company recorded NT$7.77 billion in April, its highest since February 2024, and NT$7.29 billion in May. Earnings are expected to rise significantly this year.
