Taiwan’s leading carbon steel producer China Steel Corporation (CSC) announced its consolidated revenue in April reached around NT$30.24 billion, a month-on-month increase of 3.23% but a year-on-year drop of 7.5%. The revenue growth was mainly driven by higher steel prices in April and increased shipments, particularly strong export sales due to smooth shipping schedules and urgent customer demand.

CSC Group's total shipments in April exceeded 900,000 tons for the first time this year, reaching 916,000 tons, up by 7.5% month on month, surpassing the company's target. While domestic sales totaled 539,000 tons, slightly lower than targets by 13,000 tons, exports exceeded expectations, reaching 377,000 tons.
