The Ministry of Commerce of Saudi Arabia instituted final anti-dumping (AD) duties ranging from 16.96% to 29.94% on cast iron pipes and hollow tubes (ductile iron pipes) from India, effective for five years starting August 4, 2026.

The measures apply to ductile iron pipes with diameters from 100 mm to 1,000 mm, including technical specifications K9 and C Class to C40.

The decision originates from a complaint filed by Saudi Arabian Ductile Iron Pipes Ltd. and backed by International Ductile Iron Pipes Co. Ltd., establishing that surging Indian shipments harmed domestic sales and financial results.

Electrosteel Castings Limited faces a rate of 16.96% of the CIF value with a minimum charge of SAR 714 per ton, whereas all remaining Indian producers encounter a 29.94% duty with a minimum of SAR 1,260 per ton.
