Mexico launches second sunset review of AD duty on stainless steel sinks from China

On May 8, 2025, the Secretariat of Economy of Mexico announced that it had launched the second sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) duty on stainless steel sinks from China. The investigation period is from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, while the damage investigation period is from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2025.

The review investigation was based on a request from the domestic producers Cocinas Modulares, S.A. de C.V. and E B Técnica Mexicana, S.A. de C.V. 

The HS code for the products involved is 7324.10.01. The interested parties should submit questionnaires and evidence within 28 days.

Mexico imposed an AD duty on May 8, 2015. The dumping duty rate for Taizhou Luqiao Jixiang Kitchenware Co., Ltd. was US$4.14 per kg, and other exporters received US$5.40 per kg. 

Mexico also made decision to extend the imposition of the AD duty on June 7, 2021 after the first sunset review investigation.
