JSW Steel Ltd. has issued the Final Acceptance Certificate to SMS group for a second 350-ton RH-TOP plant at its Dolvi steelmaking facility in Maharashtra. The first unit was commissioned in 2023, and this new unit increases JSW's capacity to produce high-purity steels for global markets.

SMS and JSW are collaborating on major expansions at Dolvi, including one of India's largest basic oxygen furnace converters and a twin ladle furnace. SMS will also supply a new blast furnace and the revolutionary CSP Nexus system for thin slab casting and rolling. JSW's CSP Nexus, expected to be the world's most productive, is planned for commissioning in 2026.
