Italy’s Pittini to build new rebar rolling mill in Verona, operation expected by year-end

Pittini, a leading long steel producer in Italy, has announced plans to invest in a new rebar rolling mill at its Verona facility. The mill is scheduled to become operational by the end of 2025. 

Designed to serve the construction sector, the new production line will incorporate advanced technologies focused on energy efficiency, process optimization, and environmental sustainability. This strategic investment is set to enhance Pittini’s production capacity and reinforce its competitive position in both the Italian and Central European markets. 

In addition, the company has revealed a new warehouse project in Giammoro, Sicily, with a goal to streamline logistics and improve product distribution across northern and southern Europe.
