The US dollar index fell 0.3%, making dollar-denominated crude oil cheaper for investors holding other currencies. International crude oil prices rose on June 9, reaching a multi-week high.

Besides, investors are closely monitoring the US-China trade talks in London, hoping that an agreement will improve global economic prospects and boost crude oil demand.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for July delivery increased by US$0.71 (1.1%), reaching US$65.29 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery grew by US$0.57 (0.9%), settling at US$67.04 per barrel.
