India’s Venus Pipes & Tubes opens new seamless stainless steel pipe facility

India’s stainless steel pipe and tubing manufacturer Venus Pipes and Tubes Limited (VPTL) announced the commissioning of a new plant for the production of seamless steel pipes and tubing.

VPTL Managing Director Arun Kothari stated that this is an important step in the company's growth, and they will focus on serving key industries with stringent requirements for stainless steel product specifications, providing high-grade stainless steel products. 

The new plant has an annual production capacity of 1,800 tons, increasing the company's overall annual capacity to 16,200 tons.

Currently, the company's main products are seamless and welded pipes, meeting the stringent application requirements of industries such as oil and gas, power, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and construction. Stainless steel longitudinal submerged arc welding (LSAW) pipes, high precision and heat exchanger tubes, as well as
hydraulic and instrumentation tubes are also within its product range.
