India’s MOIL reports strong manganese ore production in Jul

MOIL Limited, a state-owned manganese ore mining company in India, announced that its manganese ore production reached 145,000 tons in July this year, a 12% growth compared to the same period last year, despite challenging weather conditions.

The company also reported strong performance for the April-July 2025 period, with production at 647,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%. Sales for the same period grew by 10.7% year on year to 501,000 tons. Additionally, exploratory drilling increased by 11.4% year on year to 43,215 meters.

MOIL's Chairman and Managing Director, Ajit Kumar Saxena, credited the team's efforts for the strong results.

MOIL operates 11 mines across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, holding a 50% market share.
